This Academy has been in the New Bern area for 20+ years and teaches a variety of Disciplines to include: TaeKwonDo, Judo, BJJ, Ground Fighting, Knife & Gun Defense, Krav Maga and much more. The owner, Mr. Johnson, has been training in Martial Arts for over 35+ years and holds Black Belts in multiple different styles. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 13 years as a combat Martial Arts Instructor. This academy offers so many amazing programs, events, and opportunities for families to experience. MEET OUR STAFF
Mr. Johnson
Owner and Chief Instructor
Mr. Johnson has been teaching Martial Arts for 35+ years and holds Black Belts in two different styles. His Academy has been in New Bern for over 20+ years. He has also served in the United States Marine Corps for 13 years.
Ms. Panell
Program Director
Ms. Panell is the program director and assistant instructor for 2+ years. She is a 1st Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo and has been training for over 4 years. She has a background in child development and loves teaching kids to be confident and defend themselves.
After School Director
Ms. Wheeler
Ms. Wheeler has been the assistant director of the afterschool program for 3+ years. She has extensive experience in child development and loves helping kids succeed in their goals.
Mrs. Mahone
After School Assistant Director
Mrs. Mahone has a background in various after-school activities. She started volunteering in Elementary School Academic Clubs due to her parents being educators. Since graduating she has coached HS wrestling as well as ES cheer. She understands and upholds the academic prowess that is the key to a successful martial arts student.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM
Our program offers your child the opportunity to have a tutor and mentor assisting them with their homework and ensuring they do well in school. We pick your child up and bring them to our academy, after their homework is done they also get to participate in Martial Arts training during the week.​
EVENTS
Birthday Parties
Our birthday parties are like nothing you have seen or been apart of before. We allow the kids to do martial arts training, games, fun activities and allows the parent to sit back and relax while we take care of everything. The parties last 2 hours and you can bring as many people as you want.
Summer Camp
We offer your child a program where they can be safe and enjoy all types of activities and events during the week that will not only be fun for the child but stimulating on their minds as well. Please inquire about details on the trips we take and pricing with a staff member.
Parents Night Out
This is an exciting event we typically hold every other friday night from 6pm - 9pm. We offer dinner and a great time for the kids while the parents get to go out and enjoy some quality time with their significant other.
Lock In
This is an awesome event we hold every so often to let the kids spend the night and have a blast playing games and participating in events throughout the evening. The lock-in starts at 7pm and ends at 7am. The kids are encouraged to bring sleeping bags and proper attire for the night.
